The Municipality of Pura is found at the northeastern side of Tarlac Province abutting the municipality of Guimba in the Province of Nueva Ecija (Figure 2.1). It is within the basin area of Agno River Basin that originates from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and covers the eastern, central and western Pangasinan.
On the south, it is bounded by the Municipality of Victoria while the Municipalities of Gerona and Ramos are its neighbors in the west and north. The town center is some 19 kilometers from Tarlac City and some 5 kilometers east of MacArthur Highway. The Municipality is around 78.5 km from the Regional Center (San Fernando City, Pampanga), 55 km from Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) (Angeles City, Pampanga), 19 km from Provincial Capital (Tarlac City), and 144.9 km North of Manila.
